More handcrafted candy jade jewelry! Candy jade is an interesting stone made of what the Chinese refer to as "Bai Yu," or White Jade by its common name. This type of natural stone is hard and white or semi-translucent white in color. After being cut and polished, the stone goes through a complex color enhancing process, penetrating from surface to center with wonderful colors, thus their common name, Candy Jade.
Here I combined nine faceted teardrop shaped fuschia colored candy jade beads, 6 and 8 mm fuschia beads and sterling silver fingings including 3 mm faceted beads, a toggle clasp and ear wires. The necklace is 17" in length and the earrings are 1 1/2" plus ear wire. The teardrop beads are about 14 x 20 mm.
