Here I combined 6 mm tri-colored fiber optic beads with a red-green-yellow candy jade rose flower pendant and a sterling silver spring ring clasp in creating this unusual necklace. The necklace is 17" in length and the center drop rose is 35 mm in diameter.
Candy jade is an interesting stone made of what the Chinese refer to as "Bai Yu," or White Jade by its common name. This type of natural stone is hard and white or semi-translucent white in color. After being cut and polished, the stone goes through a complex color enhancing process, penetrating from surface to center with wonderful colors, thus their common name, Candy Jade.
