Here I combined lots of red-orange-yellow candy jade inculding 6 and 8 mm round beads, 6 mm rondelle beads and three faceted pendant beads plus sterling silver findings including Bali spacer beads and a toggle clasp. The necklace is 18" in length and the center drop is about 1 3/4" by 15/16". The three pendant the three faceted candy jade pendant beads are 1 1/16" by 15/16".
Candy jade is an interesting stone made of what the Chinese refer to as "Bai Yu," or White Jade by its common name. This type of natural stone is hard and white or semi-translucent white in color. After being cut and polished, the stone goes through a complex color enhancing process, penetrating from surface to center with wonderful colors, thus their common name, Candy Jade.
