An exceptionally beautiful magenta colored candy jade necklace and earring set! Here I combined lots of magenta colored candy jade beads including 10 mm faceted beads and 6 x 4 mm faceted rice beads and lots of sterling silver findings including expensive 10 mm ends caps, crimp covers and a toggle clasp. The necklace is just over 17" in length and the earrings are 1 1/8" plus the sterling silver ear wires.
Candy jade is an interesting stone made of what the Chinese refer to as "Bai Yu," or White Jade by its common name. This type of natural stone is hard and white or semi-translucent white in color. After being cut and polished, the stones go through a complex color enhancing process, penetrating from surface to center with wonderful colors, thus their common name, Candy Jade.
