In creating this original 26" Standing Bear necklace I selected end drilled freeform turquoise nuggets, what I think is black serpentine fetishes, a reconstituted turquoise standing bear fetish and a sterling silver toggle clasp. The reason I think the fetishes are serpentine is that they have the slick feel of serpentine. The fetishes are imported and are mostly about an inch in length by 3/8" by 1/8". The imported center standing bear is 1 1/2" in height. The turquoise nuggets are mostly about 5/16" by 1/4" by 3/16".

Lots of these type fetishes are sold as Native American, howeer, they ate imported!
Note the great detail even in the smaller fetishes.
