In creating this necklace and earring set I selected 8 mm Lapis beads, 18 x 10 mm Sponge Coral Barrel Beads, 25 x 20 mm Sponge Coral Teardrop beads and sterling silver findings including a toggle clasp, 4 mm round beads and ear wires. The necklace is 17" in length and the earrings are 1 3/8" plus the ear wires.
These sponge coral beads are crafted from chunks of natural sponge coral that have been harvested in the deep sea, They are cut, ground, polished and color treated to give them their red-orange glow. The natural variations and lines add to the uniqueness of these beads.
