In creating this necklace and earring set I selected 6 mm faceted dark amethyst beads, Lavender Quartz Puffed Oval Beads, three Lavender Quartz Graduated Flat Beads, and sterling silver findings including an adjustable clasp, 3 mm faceted beads and ear wires. The necklace can be adjusted from 15 1/2" to 18 1/2", the oval beads are 15 x 20 mm and the flat beads are about 1 1/4" x 7/8" and 1 3/16" x 7/8" and the earrings are 1 1/2" plus the ear wire.
The lavender quartz beads are made from the pale, pastel specialty glass quartz known as lavender quartz. Although man-made, the beads exhibit the natural looking internal fracturing often found in natural quartz.
