In creating this 16 1/2" necklace, I combined butterscotch amber nuggets, turquoise nuggets and a sterling silver spring ring clasp. The amber nuggets are mostly about 3/8" to 1/2" by 3/16 to 5/16" by 1/8" to 1/4" and the turquoise nuggets are slightly larger. Rather than selling amber necklaces as they are imported, I often combine them with other stones and restring then on much stronger line and use easier to fasten clasps.
